to arrival.
2. For booking made less than 7 days prior to arrival, please
submit your credit card details in order to guarantee your reservation.
If no credit card details provided, booking will not be processed.
- Once booking is confirmed, we will automatic charge from your
credit card details provided for total amount.
- If booking is not confirm, there will be no charge on your credit
card for the processing fee at all.

The Caboose has
57 rooms, all rich in African decor replicating the luxurious
rail travel of the famous Colonial African era.
Rob House, Managing Director of Caboose Taupo Hotel, and his team
welcome the opportunity to show you around the hotel and to discuss
your requirements.
The hotel comprises of train compartments and first class sleepers.
Train Compartments:
In keeping with the rail theme, these rooms are compact, elegant
and cosy, with double or twin beds and shower en-suite. The compartments
are an ideal option for offering delegates their own room.
Zambezi Sleepers:
These rooms are larger than a compartment and contain either a
king size bed or two single beds with a full bathroom ensuite.
Two of these sleepers have a double bed and offer disabled facilities.
Nairobi Sleepers:
These rooms are more spacious and contain a queen size bed and
single day bed with full bathroom ensuite.
Mombasa Sleepers:
These sleepers are ideal for couples or one/two child families.
They contain a queen size bed, a double day bed and full bathroom
ensuite.
Kalahari Sleepers:
Perfect for families or groups of friends. These sleepers have
either a queen size bed or two singles and a bunk bed (two single
beds) with a full bathroom en-suite.
